In the year 2006, I came across a picture of a handsome gelding who ventured from the track. His name was "Ink" and as soon as I saw that photograph, I knew he was the one. I can't explain why, but my mind was set. Off we went to visit Joe at TBFriends and the same day we signed the papers that Ink was to be my new guy. He was tall, gallant in stature.
Update - 2009 - "Ink's" real registered Jockey Club name is Povlovsk. He sold at auction as a yearling for over $305,000 and finished in the top three in 12 races, 29 starts. His racing career lasted until his 6th year, in 2005.

Errika was given to me five years ago by an older lady and her husband. The lady was a live-in care giver to my Grandpa when he was dying and she introduced me and later gave me one of the greatest horses I have ever met. Errika is a larger dark bay Arabian mare. Ink and I's special mare, we love her to pieces. In August of 2007 Errika underwent emergency colic surgery, you can read about that here: http://dearerrika.wordpress.com/2007/09/13/her-legacy/
