Goobye "The Equus Ink"

When I first started blogging, over 4 years ago, at The Equus Ink, I had a vision of documenting all my learnings with my first off track Thoroughbred, Ink. Ink passed away last year in April. It was probably the hardest thing I had to do, was to say goodbye to him. To look at his empty paddock the following week after his passing, when I got the courage to go back to the barn, made my heart sink. Each time I visited his things or places where I had made memories, I was brought back and faced the reality that I would never see him here on earth again. His memory helped me along and invited a new chapter in my life with Reason.

I decided to continue blogging on here because I didn't want to begin a new blog. But I'm ready now. Ready to finally say that Reason has solidified a place in my heart. I know it sounds corny, but really. I wasn't ready to let go of Ink. But over a year later, I'm ready to give Reason a real spot in my hear that I've been cheating him out of. I've always loved Reason but just didn't let him in. Now I'm ready and I want to begin with a fresh blog to dedicate to Reason.
